Last week, a Washington State legislator, with five co-sponsors, introduced a bill to end marijuana prohibition and to tax and regulate sales. It is becoming clear that other states are looking at all options and opening real conversations about taxing and regulating. NSML is leading the charge towards sensible laws, and as we do, we hope our elected officials realize that this is an issue they must start addressing.  As we gather signatures and work toward the ultimate goal, what has started as a quiet whisper will become a chorus that can’t be ignored.
